What we collect

Your email address, nothing else. No name, no nationality, no profile. The tools on this site (the visa checker, the arrival-card simulator, the address helper) run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is ever sent to us or stored anywhere.

What it is used for

One purpose: telling you when China's entry rules, the arrival card or anything else we verify on this site actually changes. No newsletters-for-the-sake-of-it, no promotions, and we never sell or share the list with anyone.

How subscribing works

Typing your address into the box and submitting it puts you on the list, and the first thing you get is a short welcome email. There is no second step. If someone else ever puts your address in, the unsubscribe link in that first email removes it in one click.

Where it is stored

We keep the list ourselves, on Cloudflare, alongside the site — your address and the date it arrived, nothing else. A copy also sits with the email service provider that sends the messages, which processes addresses on our behalf. We do not run our own mail servers.

How to leave

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also just write to [email protected] and we will remove you by hand.

The rest of the site

Reading pages requires nothing from you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites, and the subscribe forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out — that is the only third-party script on the site.
